Project Summary

The City, on behalf of the Department of Parks and Recreation (“DPR”) is seeking qualified Service Providers to prepare, transport and serve meals to children participating in the Afterschool Meal Programming for the Child and Adult Food Care Program (CACFP). CACFP is a federal nutrition program funded by the USDA to ensure children and adults throughout Georgia have access to nutritious meals. DPR will be serving an estimated 144,000 hot meals and 148,500 snacks Monday-Friday, from 3pm – 6pm, to nineteen recreation centers within the City of Atlanta. Service Provider must provide a daily menu that includes each meal component, hot meal, snack, and milk. We are seeking vendors who can service each one of these locations. The contract period will be approximately 180 days per year; schedule will follow Atlanta Public Schools instructional days as listed on website:

Pre-Bid Conference Date & Location

A Pre-Bid Conference will be held on Monday, January 7, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. EST, at the Department of Procurement, Bid Room – City Hall South 55 Trinity Avenue, SW Suite 1900 Atlanta, Georgia 30303. The purpose of the Pre-Bid Conference is to provide Bidders with detailed information regarding the project and to address questions and concerns. There will be representatives from the DPR, Office of Contract Compliance, and Risk Management. Attendance at the Pre-Bid Conference is strongly encouraged for each Bidder desiring to submit a Bid.
